:: Forum Rules ::
You may not post or place in a post, signature, private message, or anywhere else on the website any of the following:
- Anything including or related to name-calling, harassment, or threats.
- Attacks or insults to other members of the community. Moderators have the right to decide when a post is considered to be an attack or insult.
- Remarks, comments, or materials that are considered disparaging or abusive of any religion, race, nation, gender, or sexual orientation.
- Remarks, comments or materials containing excessive obscenity, vulgarity, or is sexually explicit as determined by the forum moderators.
- Any content that infringes upon anyone's rights to privacy. This includes but is not limited to a user's e-mail or phone number.
In addition, the following are not allowed:
- Topics addressed directly to another community member. Use the PM system instead.
- Trolling the forum and flame baiting. This includes threads or posts with the obvious intent of causing disruption within the community.
- Cross-posts or duplicate posts of the same topic to multiple forums.
- Replies to posts that are intentionally irrelevant to the original intent of the thread, such as claiming a first post. Off-topic, natural conversation is permitted.
- Content that is off-topic to the forum it is being posted in.
- Signatures that exceed 500x500 pixels or whatever stretches the forum.
:: Consequences ::
Users found to be breaking the rules will be dealt with in a manner deemed appropriate according to the list below. These consequences span across all different types of infractions. Moderators have the right to skip one or many steps if the infraction is considered extremely threatening to the community or a community member's physical or psychological well-being.
- First offense: The user gets a permanent warning logged in their account notes. The user is sent a PM explaining why a warning was given. Depending on the offense, the users offending post may be edited or removed.
- Second offense: The user gets a permanent warning logged in their account notes. The user is sent a PM explaining why a warning was given. Depending on the offense, the users offending post may be edited or removed. The user will receive a 3-day ban which is to be logged in their account notes.
- Third offense: The user gets a permanent warning logged in their account notes. The user is sent a PM explaining why a warning was given. Depending on the offense, the users offending post may be edited or removed. The user will receive a 7-day ban which is to be logged in their account notes.
- Fourth offense: The user gets a permanent warning logged in their account notes. The user is sent a PM explaining why a warning was given. Depending on the offense, the users offending post may be edited or removed. The user will receive a 30-day ban which is to be logged in their account notes.
- Fifth offense: The user is banned permanently.
If a period of two months passes by without a user being warned, and the user has been warned for a previous infraction in the past, the last warning they received will not count toward the above steps. If a user's total warnings, however, exceed 8 total, the user will be permanently banned.
